Luke 2:34-35

Questions to think about:
Sample Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you that you set an example of how to overcome suffering and disappointment. I sometimes wish your plan was an easy victory, but help me to remember that struggles help me grow. Help me to love you so much that I consider suffering a blessing because it draws me closer to you. As Paul prayed, “I want to know Christ…the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, attaining to the resurrection from the dead.” (Philippians 3:10-11).
- How do I respond to Jesus? What does his teaching reveal about me?
- Have I accepted the calling of every Christian to suffer with Christ?
