  • Am I diligently studying scripture to define what I believe about Jesus?
  • When I study, do I have an open heart to what God is showing me?
  • Is there anything I have read in scripture that I have failed to apply to my life? If so, what will I do about that?

Sample Prayer:
Dear Father, help me to treasure your Word. Please give me discernment when I study it. Help me to understand what it reveals to me about you and about myself. Fill me with faith to believe it. Help me to study with surrender, and to allow you to change me.
