Sample Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you for giving me instruction in your Word. Help me to learn what you desire, and to always put you first. Help me to have courage to do what pleases you, even when it upsets people around me. I know your desires are always good.
- Do I ever try to please people more than I try to please God?
- How can I make sure I am pleasing God first?
- How will I handle it when peoples’ desires are different from God’s desires?
- How can I know what God desires of me? Am I actively trying to find out what pleases him?
