  • How does this Scripture go against my usual understanding of behavior and consequences?
  • How do I feel when I think about the trade that Jesus made with me, taking my sin and giving me his reward for righteousness? Have I accepted that and put my trust in him?

Sample Prayer:
Dear Father, thank you so much for taking my punishment and assigning Jesus’ righteousness to me! You have taken what I deserve, and have given me what I don’t deserve. I am amazed.
